The Big Picture and a “Very Awesome God”!

The Holy Bible / Romans 1 vs 20 reads;
"For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse".

“A” The following information was taken from the internet:

A new inaugural observatory opened July 2025, was built by the U.S. Department of Energy and the National Science Foundation, sits atop a desert mountain, Cerro Pachón, high in the Chilean Andes, where the skies are clear, dry, and stable. It's named for astronomer Vera Rubin, who uncovered early evidence of so-called "dark matter," a mysterious-yet-abundant substance in space that doesn't shine or interact with light, according to NASA. Now Rubin's namesake observatory will try to crack the code of that material and probe some of the other biggest cosmic mysteries.

With a primary mirror that stretches 28 feet wide, Rubin isn’t the biggest telescope in the world — but it may be among the busiest. It's equipped with a hulking digital camera that's the size of a small car and twice as heavy. With 3,200 megapixel resolution, a full picture from the camera would require a wall of 400 TVs covering a basketball court.

The telescope’s unusual design, which allows the large instrument to swivel nimbly, makes all of this possible. At full tilt, the 300-ton structure can rotate all the way around in about a half-minute, wimagnetic motors allowing it to coast on a thin layer of oil.

"No other large telescope in the world can move this fast," said Željko Ivezić, director of the observatory's construction. "It moves around in seconds. Other large telescopes take minutes."

The observatory has the potential to discover 5 million new asteroids in just two years. Over the next 10 years, Rubin will take pictures of about 20 billion galaxies.

In its debut, the telescope turned its eye toward two familiar showstoppers in deep space: the Trifid and Lagoon nebulas in the constellation Sagittarius. These colorful clouds of gas and dust, each thousands of light-years away, are baby star nurseries. The Trifid glows with pinks and blues, carved by young stars punching through the haze. Nearby, the Lagoon sprawls in a soft rosy glow, its tangled wisps shaped by stellar winds.

Rubin’s early snapshots also include a bustling corner of the universe: the Virgo Cluster, a grouping of galaxies bound together by gravity. Among them are two luminous spiral galaxies that shine in bright, electric blue — cosmic pinwheels spinning in the dark.

Beyond Our Sun:

In 2023, NASA’s Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 spacecraft delivered groundbreaking data that expanded our understanding of the solar system’s outermost edge; region scientists call the "cosmic coastline." This is where the Sun’s influence ends, and the vast unknown of interstellar space begins. Voyager 1 revealed how the heliosphere, a massive bubble formed by solar wind, acts as a shield, protecting Earth from about 70% of interstellar radiation. This natural barrier plays a vital role in preserving life on our planet, deflecting harmful cosmic rays that could threaten Earth's atmosphere and biological systems. Meanwhile, Voyager 2, now traveling through interstellar space, has confirmed the existence of a clear boundary known as the heliopause. This is the point where the solar wind fades and the Sun’s influence gives way to the interstellar medium. A sharp spike in radiation recorded by Voyager 2 at this boundary has provided key insights into how our solar system interacts with the galaxy beyond. Together, the Voyagers offer a historic first look at what lies beyond our solar neighborhood. Their data not only deepen our understanding of cosmic radiation and solar wind, but also reveal how Earth is protected by forces we are only beginning to grasp. My comment “Maybe scientist should look at a Holy Christian God as the Creator and in full control?” It’s a more understandable reason than cosmic research people claim.

“B” The following information is my personal Evangelical Christian beliefs:

When we look at the images of the galaxies, many of those galaxies are 5 or perhaps even 10 billion light-years away and have up to 100 billion stars in them, and those are the galaxies that we actually can view. God allows man to study the vastness of the universe, to prove man’s incapability to comprehend size and depth of what humans can see and understand, and well beyond that point. God is a Holy God and greatness and majesty are central themes throughout the Bible, reflecting His supreme power, authority. These attributes are foundational to understanding God's nature and His relationship with creation.

Let’s cut to the chase; God created man for “HIS” pleasure!  So, “Man” (documented in the Holy Bible / Hebrews 2:7-9 teaches that humans are made lower than the angels) and I believe given a limited intelligence (for proof; look up at the heavens and try to explain the creation of 20 billion galaxies). Also: All Earthly Mankind “Past & Present” is born with a sinful heart. However, by God’s grace; men and women was given God’s law (written in their heart and mind with the knowledge of right and wrong) and the capability to make individual chooses, “A Free Will”, with the ability to either hate or disobey Him; or to love, honor and submit to the only true living God. What good is it for God to create awesome universal creations, including earthy man and have a relationship with a “Blow up doll” mentality?  We live in a fallen world (created by God with Satan’s anti-god temptations present at every step) to test our love and obedience towards our “Creator”, no matter what the circumstances:

•          Unfaithful spouse
•          Unruly family and children
•          Dishonest people
•          Weather & earth phenomenon’s
•          Health issues and accidents
•          Earthly disappointments and death
•          Unsatisfactory employment, income & housing
•          Many other earthly issues

God wants a shared “love” relationship between us! The love of God provides a way for sinful man (The Only Way), and Christ endured the cross as a profound act of love and sacrifice, fulfilling God's plan for redemption and offering salvation to humanity and with the spilled blood of Jesus from the cross covering our sins. With the blood cleansing of the man’s heart and mind, then we are then capable of having a “One on One” relationship with a Holy God that created the universe. Our reward; we receive Godly intelligence and a Heavenly Forever Home, “Hallelujah” we are in the “Family of a Eternal God”.

Life can be bountiful, and at times very difficult. As we love and trust God; He will protect us and supply our all our needs, both earthly and heavenly.  God is awesome God!
